I'm in the Zone
The Friend Zone! It's a wonderful place. It's capital is Forever Alone which has an annual Anti- Valentine's Day festival. The Friend Zone is filled with many broken hearts, unrequited love, and those who feel that they'll never find someone. The Friend Zone is an island but boats go in an out about once a month. More are added to the population as some leave. Sarah has been there her whole life. She has friends that have as well and some that rarely visit. But Sarah feels like she needs to escape. She's tried devising a plan but it usually fails before it even starts. Most of Sarah's best plans are used on her friends even if sometimes they come back to her. She has a great track record for helping others out though so, a nice and long trip is usually the result. This makes Sarah proud and happy but like it was said previously, Sarah wants to get away. She wants to experience life beyond The Friend Zone, beyond Forever Alone. There are some things she needs to do first though to improve her chances out there. She has to pack! Now you would think that it would be easy but she has a lot of clothes that she needs to put in the suitcase. Her parents, especially her mom; who means well, have been begging her to pack for years. It's just a lot of work and a lot of disappointment when she fails almost a third of the way done. It's safe to say that Sarah is tired of trying to pack. But Sarah knows that the only way improve her chances of happiness she must do it. I mean what would she be without her fashion? Crushed; that's what. (They are very fashionable out there.)
So, "here goes nothing" Sarah says and puts the first item of clothing in her suitcase.
Hope you liked it and got at least some of the metaphors. ;)
XOXOXOXOXOXO Mel.
